• Account details — your name, email address and phone number when you create an account or make a booking.
• Booking details — the barber, service, date, time, any notes you add, and your booking history.
• Marketing preferences — whether you have opted in to receive offers and updates by email.
• Messages — anything you send us through the contact form.
• A sign-in cookie — to keep you logged in to your account.

• To take and manage your appointments and send you booking confirmations — this is necessary to provide the service you've asked for (performance of a contract).
• To run and secure your account (performance of a contract).
• To send you marketing emails only if you have opted in, and you can withdraw your consent at any time (consent).
• To respond to enquiries you send us (our legitimate interest in answering customers).
• To keep proper business records and meet our legal obligations (legal obligation).

We will only email you offers and news if you have chosen to opt in. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to stop at any time by emailing us. Booking confirmations and other essential service messages are not marketing and will still be sent.

We do not sell your personal information. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site on our behalf:

• Supabase — secure database and account login (data hosted in the EU/UK).
• Resend — sending booking confirmations and any marketing emails.
• Vercel — hosting the website.

Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information.

We use an essential cookie to keep you signed in to your account, and we store a small note in your browser so our website pop-up doesn't keep reappearing. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

We keep your account and booking records while your account is active and for as long as we reasonably need them for our business and legal records. Contact form messages are kept for a reasonable period and then deleted. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct anything that's wrong;
• ask us to delete your information;
• object to or ask us to restrict how we use it;
• ask for your information in a portable format; and
• withdraw your consent to marketing at any time.
