Our Story
Sommervilles opened in 2018 with one simple idea — proper haircuts and proper conversation. Lisa brought twenty years of craft to her own chair, and Stacy followed not long after. Whether you're after a fresh skin fade, a tidy beard, or a full restyle, you're in good hands.
We're proudly autism-friendly — our private room means a haircut away from the noise and bustle of the shop, whenever it's needed. Just ask when you book.

The Chair
Lisa opened Sommervilles in 2018 after twenty years on the chair. A Dundee local with a soft spot for traditional barbering and a sharp eye for modern styles. Ask her about the autism-friendly private room — it's why a lot of our regulars first walk through the door.
Nine years and counting. Stacy has been with Sommervilles since the early days and lives by the motto: "Pleasure in the job, puts perfection in the work." Equally at home with a skin fade or a full restyle.
Nikki brings a sharp eye and an easy chair-side manner — as comfortable with a classic short back and sides as a contemporary skin fade.
Faith is the newest face at the Sommervilles chair, quickly building a loyal following with precise, friendly-priced cuts.
